Our first baby was born 17 days ago. He spent most of the first two weeks in hospital as he was unwell. I stayed with him most of the time, and my husband also spent several nights in hospital. We both spent pretty much all day every day with our baby. During this time our neighbour looked after our cat as we'd agreed beforehand. When our son became unwell, she also did our laundry, collected parcels for us and other housekeeping. We are extremely grateful to her and have been trying to think of an appropriate way of thanking her, as she really went out of her way whilst also working and home educating her child. Her child has ASD, so we're not sure what would be suitable for him, as well as her. Any suggestions welcome, budget is around £100.

A lovely food hamper?

Is there a place her son would like to visit? Wondering if vouchers to go there would work.
In the future maybe offer to babysit whilst she has a night out? She may refuse, but I bet it would be appreciated
