16 year old DD birthday ideas

Struggling this year so looking for inspiration. DD is not into jewellery. She's into make up but has just bought herself a load of really good stuff - same with clothes. As it's her 16th we wanted to get her something she can keep. Help!

DS is 16 next week I’m getting him a watch.

I do jewellery for 18. My almost 16 year old is getting hard cash!

I know you want something to keep but in reality tastes change so much between 16-18 it's not likely she'll still like and want to keep something she chose this age in 2,5,15 years. Clothes she is still quite likely to grow out of.

How about a ticket for an experience(either with you or friend) instead - show in London, comic con, skydiving, spa, gig....whatever she's into and then at least she'll keep the memories/photo evidence.

If you want a 'thing' will she need a good laptop or something for sixth form? New hair straighteners? Double bed if she has a single? Depends on what she wants and what your budget is really....
