Ds is almost 4, he currently attends a small preschool attached to a primary school 3 days a week.
He was always happy to go and had lots of close friends but those friends have since moved up to reception. There are 3 other children in his school year but seem a lot younger than him (I feel he was school ready for this year), the other children are 2yrs old.
He's no longer happy to attend and says he's bored. The staff don't seem to have the time to help settle him or keep him busy, to the point I walked him out and took him home on Friday.
I feel I should just pull him out and keep him at home but I'm wondering on what to tell the manager. Without sounding like a snob?
Will I regret pulling him out? Should I try and keep him going for maybe one morning a week to keep his link with school?

We had the same problem. All DS' friend moved to reception and he was left with just a few friends. We just pushed through it and eventually he stopped complaining.
It coincided with his sister coming to live with us so I was on adoption leave and able to reduce his hours from fulltime to 3 days a week. I wouldn't reduce to any less as he may then struggle to cope with school. Speak to the manager and ask for some support.

I would have him at home and enjoy the time before he goes to school.
