Thinking the worst - any GP's?!

I didn't know where else to go, I think my DP is getting stressed/fed up with my worrying about this.

I rang the Doctor's about this today and I am expecting a call back this morning but in the meantime I can't concentrate and do my work.

Last night I had a poo and when I wiped there was blood, bright red.

But I was also getting blood on paper from my vagina. My period isn't due for another 2 weeks and I am usually like clock work.

Just before bed I went to the toilet and I had blood stains in my knickers so put a sanitary towel on. Woke this morning, no blood on towel but blood when I wiped.

I can't work out whether I am bleeding from both passages or just the vagina and its showing by my bum which it sometimes does when I am on my period!

I am so worried. I have also had pain just under left breast for weeks following some serious horseplay with friends child (lifting him up in the air repeatedly. So think hope that is just a muscle strain.

Tell me I don't have bowel cancer :( or something else horrific. I feel like I can't breathe, I just need the doctor to call me!

Please dont stress. I totally get where you're coming from, I have health anxiety myself.

The poo was perhaps a tad rough so it has cut your back passage a wee bit. An anal fissure I think they call it. It could also be piles.

Could the blood be transferring from back to front with the way you're wiping?

......and it probably is a pulled muscle with all that exertion.

It could be but who knows! Doctor rang me and asked me a few questions, he said it sounds like it could be piles and to keep an eye on them. He said fresh (red) blood is usually reassuring so I am to keep an eye on things. I feel slightly better for now.

But I was hoping he would see me to examine my butt never thought i would say that just to be sure!

Yeah with the muscle thing. I had my arms out straight and was lifting him by his hands.

I certainly do!

I managed to control it for a while and recognise the triggers but I have been extremely stressed about work lately so it has started to overwhelm me again.

As an update for anyone who may be interested (!) the bleeding stopped and I think it was a small period.

I went to the Doctor last monday about some pain in my rib I have had for a while and a slightly protruding stomach ont he left side. He said there is definitely swelling there around my spleen.

He sent me for blood tests and they all came back clear, however he has also referred me for an x ray of my ovaries, spleen, liver and kidneys. Been worrying all weekend, just want the appointment over with.

It almost feels heavy like there is something there but that could be in my head. The tummy just above my belly button on left side is definitetly more "fat" though.
