Tips for dealing with a completely sleepless night when you have to work

I’m waiting for a plane: it’s delayed already by 2 hours and probably will be later than that. It lands tomorrow morning in London and I have to go straight to work. I paid for business class because I had to work next day, but they’ve bumped me down to economy as they’ve screwed up somewhere. If I’m lucky I’ll get an hour or two of sleep. I really have to be at work tomorrow: any advice on getting me through, other than intravenous caffeine? Help!

just power through - you'll be fine for one day

that's what I do when I get back from long-haul (and always economy) - I land in the morning, go home and have a quick shower, and then go into work in the afternoon.

don't drink too much coffee - you'll just be hyper!
try and get a good night's sleep the night after you get back
