[insert regional word for evening meal here]

I'm having tortellini with sweet and sour sauce.

Kids are having gammon, sweet potato fries, cabbage, corn on the cob and carrots.

No idea what we’re having later.

3TresTrois · 09/09/2018 16:41

DD begged me to make a curry, so I relented. Smelling pretty good even if I do say so myself.

No pudding or wine today as trying to lose weight Angry

DollyDayScream · 09/09/2018 16:45

Beef casserole with dumplings, new potatoes and greens. I even made a apple and blackberry crumble for pud. I can't wait!

Quorn stir fry Grin nice and simple to end the week!

TomHardysNextWife · 09/09/2018 16:52

Cereal or toast in this house.

I'm on strike today after coming down to a full clean dishwasher and most of last nights tea bowls/plates and a million mugs/glasses on the side this morning waiting for the dishwasher fairy to fly in and deal with. I've emptied, reloaded, and emptied again but if they think I'm cooking they can fuck right off Confused

SwordToFlamethrower · 09/09/2018 16:52

Roast pork, roast parsnips, carrots, toast potatoes, gravy and wine. Hopefully sexytimes after that

ChristinaMarlowe · 09/09/2018 16:53

DH is at work (Chef) so DD and I are having Toad in the Hole and mash, veggies and gravy. Om nom nom. Sweet and sour tortellini sounds strange but magical!

SwordToFlamethrower · 09/09/2018 16:53

TimHardy... 100% with you on that one!

Done the "shit with sugar on" reply to "what's for dinner" a few times myself.

VelociraptorRex · 09/09/2018 16:54

Shepherds pie but with sweet potato topping instead of normal topping (and loads of cheese). I'd rather have what @Confusicated is having but I'm driving later!

FrangipaniBlue · 09/09/2018 16:55

Sunday dinner of course!

Honey roast ham, mash, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and Yorkshire puddings Grin

Turkey dinner. Just me and DG, so stuck one of those turkey breasts from Iceland in the oven. Watching Wales match whilst cooking.

Nottotheirstandards · 09/09/2018 17:05

Stuffed chicken breast with spinach and Turkish cheese rolled in breadcrumbs fried then oven baked. With home made wedges. Rice, stuffed mushrooms a tomato sauce drizzled. Maybe some lentil soup too. Home made chorros in syrup for dessert.

MrsMotherHen · 09/09/2018 17:08

TheOnlyLivingMumInNewCross · 09/09/2018 17:18

Homemade sausage and tomatoe casserole. I made it yesterday and it's now finishing off in the oven. Am busy on Sunday so have to have a stick it in the oven and forget about it til later dinner.
Kids had toad in the hole, also prepped yesterday.

hiddeneverything · 09/09/2018 17:21

Scampi along with chip shop chips

itbemay · 09/09/2018 17:26

I'm trying a dolmio chicken bake, Italian herbs with added toms, spinach and will serve with spaghetti! Took 5 mins to prep... I normally make my own pasta sauce but this was on offer in Aldi
