The guys who videoed her knew exactly what they were doing and am.sure theyve been paid huge amounts for the footage. I really dont know how she's going to come back from this, I really do feel for her. She needs help

Dwight Yorke has never publicly been involved and im guessing not at all in Harveys life,its disgusting and sad what that man has failed to do in his son's life

i dont know how he lives with himself but then again my youngest dad has never wanted anything to do with my son,its hearbreaking and hard explaining to a young boy why his dad;s not about and it must be very difficult for Harvet to understand

never hear anything about DY but imo he's a disgrace and not a nice person

I do feel for her.

Nobody actually knows what she's like so it's hard to high horse it.

Someone who is willing to do some of the things she has indicates she may have serious mental health issues.

I do worry about her kids Sad

You can dislike someone's actions and still have some sympathy for someone who is self-destructing. I have never been a fan of KP, I never thought she was a decent parent, but she is human and only someone who is mentally/emotionally unhealthy would make some of the decisions she has.

I do understand why some people don't feel sorry for her. I used to be a bit more like that and I have judged people harshly for making awful decisions. Experience recently has taught me that people just don't act this way unless they are suffering badly and self-destruction is awful to see.

Lets be honest , we only see what's in the media , which is not great I know , we have no idea what goes on behind the scenes , KP is a women and a mother and I feel a bit sorry for her .

After reading the old guardian article up thread I'm thinking the video and rehab is a massive PR stunt. People are dumb enough to get sucked in and pay money afterwards for interviews tv, biographies etc.

The one good thing is - and also very smart KAtie, apart from Harvey, you chose fathers for your kids who you know would be good available loving dads.

The woman is smart and manipulative, would do anything to get what she wanted.

I'm not keen on Katie price at all. Nothing about the way she looks, speaks, does anything for me at all.

But. Compared to the likes of lily Allen I do have sympathy for her right now. She has very tough ride these past few years. She seems to have and be very caring for Harvey, no amount of money can ease the strain sometimes of caring for a child with disabilities, esp when people say hurtful things
She stood genuinely by a cheating Vile man who well and truly did her over. I don't follow the woman but even I got wind of it and how she was trusting him again because he got help.

Now she's in limbo and probably doing what each of her exs have done after leaving, dumping her.

She's been the main earner, the mum, single mum to Harvey probably supporting other family members and she clearly has issues with the plastic surgery.
I hope she gets the help she needs and can find a stable path through and eventually I hope she finds a man who loves her.

Yes I know but her constant posturing trying to educate people, the way she seems to have become strident politically preaching at people and the latest revaluation about the prostitutes makes me go cold.

It's awful for her dc to read this stuff. I see kp as far less educated and more vulnerable. Lily isn't stupid...

I've never liked Katie Price she would do anything for money, she was a millionaire now nearly bankrupt, she may have a mental health problem now because her crazy lifestyle has caught up with her, I wouldn't blame Dwight york for anything, he has never taken a lot of interest in harvey, thousands of men like him, do not know if he ever paid child support up until now she never needed it. How many women on mumsnet don't receive child support, i was one of them.

Dwight Yorke is disgusting. It doesn't make him less disgusting because there are many men as bad. No opinion about KP other than she'd be well advised to get a proper job otherwise all that will be left to her is being part of the co ntinuing freak show she's made of her life. But I don't suppose she will.

Is KP not a survivor of childhood/ teen sexual abuse? I thought I had read that before somewhere. That, obviously, does very deep damage to a person.

I too have a soft spot for her - maybe because she's been around since I was a teenager myself. Also I have complete empathy with anyone dealing with a terminally ill mum they're very close too.

I'd like to read a study on how the media are so easily able to stir up vitriol against a woman, by women.

Women who speak as if they know her personally, and what men and the media and assorted hangers on say about her, is gospel truth.

Fuck off with that nonsense a lot of people have made good money and even a career out of scorning or betraying her, so they're no better than she is, are they?

Yet she's the hated scapegoat for everything and everybody.

Her Dad walked out when she was four ... she was sexually abused ... she's been mugged off and used by best friends etc etc etc ... I only feel empathy for her.

She is a person who lives her life in the full view of the media and is happy to get the publicity that comes along. Doesn't make her a bad person just that she has built her career through the use of the media so you swim with sharks you might get bitten
