It’s cold here, I want that lovely hot weather back.

Not yet but I'm considering it.

Worldpeace123 · 26/08/2018 13:02

Oh yes, I thought I was the only one. In August Smile

Paddingtonthebear · 26/08/2018 13:02

Just lit the fire! 14 degrees here, house is just under 18 degrees.
It’s depressing for August bank holiday Hmm

Distancehelp · 26/08/2018 13:03

No, but am wearing a big jumper and tights!

PristineCondition · 26/08/2018 13:03

Mine's on, its cold wet and miserable

ParkheadParadise · 26/08/2018 13:04

Yes, heating has been on a couple of times in the last week.

Moody123 · 26/08/2018 13:04

Mines on ! Has been on for a couple of weeks now, but my little one is up at 4:30 so it's cold then x

CramptonHodnet · 26/08/2018 13:04

Testing it today to make sure it's all working for the Autumn Grin

It's horribly cold here and raining hard. Which, of course, it would - it's Bank Holiday weekend.

bobstersmum · 26/08/2018 13:05

Our heating came on by itself yesterday because the temp dropped so low it triggered it, coldest I can remember being in August!

HolyMountain · 26/08/2018 13:07

Time to dig the Uggs out from the back of the wardrobe Smile.

no way.......just had to buy uniform for son for senior school......no idea how we are going to eat for the rest of the month let alone pay for heating.
Last year I invested in lots of fleacy blankets and big jumpers for everyone. extra layers will have to suffice!

PinkBuffalo · 26/08/2018 13:10

Haven't got heating on, but do have my big hoodie on. Pouring with rain here too. I don't mind too much, but at least with the dry weather I wasn't too worried about the garden, whereas all the rain over the last few days it's getting out of control again.

Bubblysqueak · 26/08/2018 13:10

We put ours on last night and first thing this morning as it's cold wet and windy (and we all have jumpers on)

BabySharkDooDooDooDoo · 26/08/2018 13:11

I contemplated it last night, today have shut all the windows and put a jumper on

MaisyPops · 26/08/2018 13:11

I really want to put it on but can't justify it in August so I'm wrapped up.

ScreamingValenta · 26/08/2018 13:13

No, but I'm tucked up in a furry blanket! Might consider my heated throw if it gets any colder.

Itsanothernamechange · 26/08/2018 13:13

Just put mine on. Usually dont put it on till october. Hope this isn't a sign that we are in for a bad winter

ElinorOliphantIsCompletelyFine · 26/08/2018 13:13

Our thermostat says 20 degrees so, no. I have been wearing my thick dressing gown though. DS and DP are mini furnaces so I cuddle them if I get cold 😊

Sorry10 · 26/08/2018 13:13

Yes put it on for 1/2 a hour last night and again today to take chill off . Sat with my comfys on . Definitely not leaving the house today

HeyMacWey · 26/08/2018 13:14

I'm considering it - we've got friends round this afternoon and I don't want them to be cold.

I've got my thermals on and a warm jumper.
I put my winter duvet back on this time 4 years ago - so Facebook reminded me this morning.

Pibplob · 26/08/2018 13:16

No but I have shut all the windows and put thick socks and a big jumper on. Freezing. Kids are camping in this too. Hope they are ok. Hate having all the windows shut. Love the fresh air coming in. Bring back that lovely weather we had at the beginning of August. I was hoping for the kids to return to school in summer uniform. However if this weather carries on I will be digging out the winter stuff and hoping it still fits now!

hugoagogo · 26/08/2018 13:16

No, my house only just cooled down a couple of days ago, I have got a cardigan on though.
It's great not to be sweaty and to able to sleep at night.Grin
How cold is it where you are that you need heating?

Redyoyo · 26/08/2018 13:21

Ours has been on a couple of times this week. Ive put it on again today as it raining and the house has a cold dampy feeling. Its only 9 degrees here today i think that merits heating! I also ordered myself a pair of fur lined trainers yesterday for the autumn.

HolyMountain · 26/08/2018 13:22

It’s 12 degrees here in Shropshire , wet and chilly.

No, but DD is trying to persuade me! I've told her no way am I putting the heating on in August! She'll have to put another layer on. I'm in my fleecy lounge suit (attractive!) so I'm quite toasty.
