How do you cook your gammon?

Just a box standard gammon. Nothing 'festive' - just so that it's not dry and chewy (like my last one was).

Do you anything fancy schmancy with yours or just bung it in and hope for the best?

Well it was a fucking disaster. 😂 Put it on the boil in my huge soup pot - got it to a nice rolling simmer and went upstairs for an hour and a half to clear out my wardrobe. Left DH to 'keep an eye' on it but he forgot and fell asleep. My fucking stupid twat of a lab has a habit of turning off the hob (another reason to keep an eye on it). I went back downstairs and it was off and I had no idea how long for so bunged it in the oven for two hours. Came out like a piece of old leather. Not my finest culinary hour ... 😂
