CTK was complaining of an earache for a while but was diagnosed with meningitis and died a day or so later @Sweetsongbird1. Very sad and very sudden.

I only joined MN a few years ago so came quite late to CTK's posts, but once I found her I used to look for her as I loved reading her stories. I was only thinking of her the other day and wondering how her family is doing. Will be raising a glass of gin to her this evening.

I thought about CTK the other day, can't believe it's been that long. And Zombie, too. It feels so strange to feel so sad about two people I never met.

CTK had an amazing way with words she'd have me howling with laughter.

So much so that I realised I hadn't seen her posts for a few weeks and then found out she'd died

She was camping in the garden wasn't she, just before she died. That's what her last few posts were about.

for Cat and Zombie. Both amazing women who brightened up so many peoples days. Very much missed

CTK had a fabulous soul. She was so funny. I love her approach to the weirdness in her life.

I hope her family are doing ok. Especially that little girl of hers.
