Witnessed strangers having affair

This morning I was having breakfast in a very nice hotel on my own.
A man and woman arrived at the table beside me and being alone, I found their interactions good entertainment and like guessing about people and their relationships to each other.
Anyway, they were obviously newly loved up. She had quite broken English and maybe an Eastern European or Russian accent. She was about 40 and beautiful. He was a middle aged fairly overweight man.
He admired her as she walked over to the buffet, lots of lingering glances, etc.
Their conversation was about his day. He said he had forgotten, he had a physio client that day that he had completely forgotten about. She asked was it his appointment and he said no, it was for his client. She obviously didn't really understand much about his job so the whole conversation sounded confusing.
He said he needed to call his client right away and left her at the table to do that.
I had finished my breakfast and got up to leave. I heard him in the lobby on the phone and he said
"I'm sorry love I was only just now able to charge my phone" and was then asking about the children.
I was witnessing an affair in action. And I felt like returning to the mistress at the table to say there is no client, it's his wife on the phone. Or else, shouting into the phone your mistress is waiting.
What would you do in that circumstance?
It felt horrible and creepy and I feel sad for both women.

Ah sorry I misread, thought you were an admin. Still bizarre though. Is it a page for people (I'm guessing mainly women) to just send in photos of people who look like they are having affairs?

This is the problem with society nowadays. People are too scared or lacking in a backbone to get involved when something bad is going on.

I witnessed a couple "hiding" in a booth at a restaurant opposite me who attracted my attention first because they were middle aged and couldn't keep their hands off each other like a couple of kids, then I overheard them speaking about the plan to deceive their other halves (and children in the woman's case) so they could meet up later in the week. I was fascinated and sad at the same time, like a real life novel in front of my eyes. I didn't know them so of course not my business Sad
