Handbag

I've been feeling down for a few months since losing my mum at Christmas and felt I needed to treat myself to something nice and new... I needed a new candle so went off to the shop after work.

Spotted a beautiful handbag and impulse-buy grabbed it as well as a few small bits for home that I did need. Anyways I got home last night and hid the bag away and burnt the candle for a few hours and felt much better.

Today I went into my purse and looking at the receipt the girl on the till has not scanned the handbag - she took great delight in looking at it, talking about the brand all whilst removing the security tag but she didn't charge me for it.

Do I go back and say something or keep it ?

I'd keep it - she won't get in trouble and stick gets lost/stolen all the time x

Arse, they never know whose fault it was unless you bloody tell them

There would have been no way for them to figure out who it was if you hadn't gone back in. In fact it would probably be months before the missing bag was noticed in a stock take or whatever. And it's not like a reasonably sized company doesn't allow for a certain amount of loss.

The girl's till wouldn't have been short... she didn't scan it.

Should've kept it! Sad
