I had to dash out something on the Olympics after yesterday.

Evening all,

I'm afraid I appear to have upset a few folk with my old fashioned support for marriage! Today's news that Fearne Cotton is pregnant made me think about babies, marriage, and whether one still expected one to come before the other or not. Personally I still believe in marriage, but I don't judge others for not choosing to get married. The blog post expands on this.

Congratulations Fearne

DillyTante - I've replied to your comment on my blog. I completely agree with you.

Apparently though, I'm full of c* according to Jemjabella on Twitter. Sorry if I don't particularly feel like debating using that language. Maybe that's just another old fashioned part of me I just can't shake. Not judging though. Just deciding to stand up for my own values.

So it is with some trepidation that I will camp this weekend, en route to Cornwall, because my kids want me to.

"I can do this," I thought as my friend Lisa introduced me to 'Go Outdoors'. The new Milletts. I can do glamping. Now where are the diamantes and ice buckets?

We found a Zebra print tent. It was ideal. I was ready to camp there and then. In the comfort of a centrally heated store.

The athletes at the Olympics are allowed to 'go for gold.'
Why aren't our kids?!

A bit of a moan about experts at my local children's centre:
Yet another ?expert? at the children?s centre with the expertise of a banana

As well as thinking about the question I'm starting to be asked by friends I've made since I had my DC3:
So, how long did you breastfeed the others for?

And since I'm getting more time to myself in the evening to do things like blog, a review of part of our cloth nappy stash:

(I don't want London2012 to end - we're having far too much fun!)

Absolutely last time I write about the Olympics, promise. This time the consequences could be very expensive though.

After much persuasion by my sister and dh,I have gingerly reactivated my blog. Really missed it this past while, especially the interacting with other people. Haven't posted anything new yet but just wanted to say thanks everyone for your support and messages. Your blog definitely becomes like your baby after a while doesn't it?
