Genuine salacious gossip, anyone?

Ok so I am party to some v salacious and libellous sleb gossip

I promise I am not a troll, tho I do name change regularly. I do not have proof that this gossip is true, but I heard it from a reliable source, and I believe it.

I heard it about a year ago and have often wanted to come on here and spill but it is v libellious and I'm not sure of the correct form in this topic (I don't come in sleb twaddle v often).

The reason I'm here now is that I'm fucked off with certain OPs on other threads, both in this topic and others, dicking around with people. Is it me or is there a lot of Hmm going on at the moment?

The other reason I'm here is that I'd love to know if anyone else has heard the same story. Which I think would render it more likely to be true.

Right. So how do I go about divulging in a way that won't get myself or anyone else into trouble? And how do I avoid journos?

Oh and finally the sleb concerned is married with children. What are the ethics?

I'm sure she did take anti-malaria tabs but I don't think they're always 100% effective. Didier Drogba (Chelsea player) has recently been treated for malaria. It does happen.

cupcakesandbunting · 11/11/2010 13:13

FWIW I'm not sure that I buy the malaria one. I think it's untrue.

EldritchCleavage · 11/11/2010 13:14

Don't think there is a malaria injection. There are tablets, none is 100% effective, though the newer ones are highly effective assuming you take them properly.

Also, many many tourists make the mistake of stopping the tablets as soon as they get home. In fact, you have to continue for some time to make sure you are protected until the parasite that causes it has left your system.

cupcakesandbunting · 11/11/2010 13:23

Does anyone else misread "PM me" as " Prime Minister me"?

Nope?

Righty-ho.

TessOfTheDinnerbells · 11/11/2010 13:23

Also feeling very much part of the gang....

PM's give me a lovely smug feeling! Grin

wildstrawberryplace · 11/11/2010 13:29

Well come on then Tess, share the love!

PM?

AgnesG · 11/11/2010 13:39

Oh please oh please me too! Grin

UnquietDad · 11/11/2010 13:53

Occam's Razor applies as far as the malaria is concerned. Any explanation other than the one we have been given is far less likely and more difficult to engineer. (It's like the people who think the moon landings and 9/11 were faked...) And I don't think she is a good enough actress to fake the distress in the PM interview.

I do think though, that she ought to have had little trouble swatting away an annoying, buzzing, whining creature with a small brain and a little prick. She was married to one for 3 years, after all.

Polgara2 · 11/11/2010 14:32

Ooh I have the three pieces of goss from the other thread but have a feeling I am still missing out on something?

Also does anyone have the answers to BOF's clues on that thread?

Please can someone pm me to make sure I am still 'in the gang' Grin and not behind the door (my usual standpoint!)

cupcakesandbunting · 11/11/2010 14:35

I'm new to all this and I only know three bits of goss' (TC, GR and malaria)

If anyone has anything that they'd like to drop in my inbox, they'll be richly rewarded with an afternoon margarita and nibbles on my chaise longue.

cupcakesandbunting · 11/11/2010 14:35

Also, I love that UQD is in here Grin

Hullygully · 11/11/2010 14:43

I am missing one. I know malaria and GR. What's TC?

Pm needed urgent like

Hullygully · 11/11/2010 15:06

thanks for the pms!

Isn't it amazing quite how general a piece of knowledge can be and yet it remains a "secret?" (Thinking of TC) The power of wong.

rosieposey · 11/11/2010 15:14

cupcakes thanks Grin I knew number 3 but like uqd im not sure if she is that good at acting either.

cupcakesandbunting · 11/11/2010 15:19

Nah, she isn't. She'd have slipped up by now. It takes her all of her concentration to remember to blink and breathe simulatneously.

saythatagain · 11/11/2010 15:19

I did a lot of pm-ing yesterday so could some kind person pm now?

UnquietDad · 11/11/2010 15:19

I'm always amazed, given the power of t'Internet, that the lid is kept on all this stuff. These people must have amazing PR management. The CC "not malaria" stuff is rubbish but it's incredible that the "not Pepsi" penchant, shall we say, has stayed a secret given the fact that it's actually on camera.

Errmmmm · 11/11/2010 15:21

Could someone PM me with all the latest pieces of gossip please? Thank you lots Grin

cupcakesandbunting · 11/11/2010 15:22

Not Pepsi? WTF is this?

UnquietDad · 11/11/2010 15:23

Showbiz sherbet.
