Same here do you always feel like apart of you is missing .

I didn't actually know until I was 16, so I'm not sure. Apparently I talked about Topsy and Tim a lot when I was growing up and said I wished I had a twin. I think it affected me in that my first months on Earth were grieving and having a grieving mother.

Do you know the cause if death and sex of your twin

My uncle was had a twin but they died at birth he never knew until his 50s when my dad and aunt told him. Strangely my gran didn't mention it to him or my grandfather.

Aw that’s a shame you weren’t aware growing up as I’m sure you felt like a part of you was missing.

Were they given a name and burial?

@Endo33 same thing happened to me. I didn't find out till I was 6 years old. I still think of her on our birthday. My mum never ever got over it poor woman

Does your mum talk about it? My mums twin was either stillborn or died at birth, she's not 100% sure as my gran will never talk about it. My mum said she always felt like there was a part of her missing. My gran said that was nonsense as she never even knew him and didn't grow up with him. Which I find so harsh and cold.

Can I ask with kindness if you know why you didn’t find out till 16? I’m the same; I found out accidentally at primary school when another child told me.
