If not too personal..how did you end up in a refuge and how did you get out of it?

That’s fine, I don’t mind answering. My partner was abusive so I fled, I had no other options at the time and it ending up being the best thing because of the support offered - practical, housing, financial etc. it enabled me to get myself back on my feet and be independent.

A relaxing night - what does that look like?

A paid holiday over the weekend no limit - what would that be?

Evening: cooking dinner at a leisurely pace with music & wine
yoga with fairy lights & incense
good podcast in bed before sleep

weekend holiday: hire a yacht with a skipper & a chef & take a bunch of friends stopping off wherever we please

Podcasts: I enjoy podcasts about geopolitics and look for quality content beyond the narrow constraints of MSM (I like Heretics with Andrew Gold and Doc Malik); true life stories; true crime (Small Town Dicks); DNA & genealogy; languages & linguistics (gutted The Colour Purple ended) interviews with comedians (Rob Brydon’s is particularly good) - those are my main go to subjects.

Also love audio dramas and audiobooks.
