Hi all,

Going anon for this but decided to start the thread in case anyone is interested as it's probably a rare enough situation.

I’m sorry but why would you choose to be with someone who has the capacity to hurt you without a shred of remorse?
Even if he isn’t doing anything to you now don’t you worry that that might change one day?
Don’t you think that he has you completely figured out and knows how to play you?

My ex was diagnosed with ASPD.
He could be very caring in his manner, but it always felt as though there was something 'missing', as though any care lacked depth.
He's not a bad person and, given the right circumstances (when his needs are being met and he feels secure/unchallenged) he seems to show that he does have a good heart.
But, I think I have lost sight of his 'good side', as so much of his behaviour and how he lives his life/conducts himself is just...awful.
