Very well actually! They have their own clause in our tenancy agreement.

We have them on a low table in our lounge, caged. So they are with us all day. They squeak when DH is in the fridge and climb up on the bars when they know they are about to get veggies.

Daily snuggles with us.

Very occasionally they'll disturb a DH meeting as he works from home. But his boss has animals, so is cool with occasional interruptions.

Getting them was the best decision we made.

Please, please, please DON'T ruin your fame by coming back on here and posting that you take your darling guinea pigs to the local school for pat-a-pet sessions but charge £200 for the privilege . . . .

Online.

I only swiped right because I thought we had a mutual friend.

Turns out we don't, but by the time I established that, we were already getting along well, so we agreed to meet.

I don't own a toilet brush. I think if DH suggested it, we'd have a serious problem.

I have a clean bedsheet every day. Other bedding once a week.

I don't shower regularly at all. (No I'm not gross!) our bathroom isn't wheelchair accessible, so it's bed baths for me.

Rest of flat is wheelchair accessible, and we don't meet criteria for social housing, which makes literally no sense to me.

Saving for a deposit so we can buy.

DH and I have separate towels.

Hand towels change twice a week. Bath towels after every use.

Tea towels once a day.

He likes to cook from scratch and play video games.

The Guinea pigs hobby is to throw a full food bowl upside down and scream until we get another one. Rinse and repeat

Were you glued to the recent "oh hell no I think new guinea pig is pregnant" thread that turned into the "omg we love our new baby guinea pigs and all their friends and relations so much" thread?

It was a cute read and I imagine especially so for guinea pig lovers! 😊

Yes!!

It turns out she was my mum's midwife, and recognised my mum and figured who she was because she was pushing a wheelchair.

(It was a very difficult labour, no surprise I came out disabled.)

I'm not famous either, how on earth do we non-influencers cope with being so run of the mill? Obviously you have support animals to help you through, but do you have any advice for mediocre me?
