You must have been very proud to read about the JAL staff last week and their brilliant evacuation. I was on a flight the next day and noticed everyone really listening to the safety briefing.

Interesting about Phoenix Airport @Honeyroar - I've never been there, but in general I find most US airports rather dreary places. My favourite airports as a traveller are the Asian ones (e.g. Changi).

So now I'm really curious to know what airport characteristics are important to cabin crew! (As opposed to the shiny features that appeal to passengers).

No I’m not the OP. I feel a bit cheeky answering, but they seem to have gone on their crew rest or something!🤣

Crew (well me anyway) like an airport with quick lines and helpful staff, plus not too far to walk once you’ve done a long flight and want to grab your case and get on the crew transport. But I agree about Changi, particularly for passengers. I loved their duty free, but it was still a fair walk!

And yes 👏👏👏 to the JAL crew for a fantastic job. And to the passengers for remaining calm and staying seated while crew/pilots assessed everything. A lot of people would have panicked.
