It's been quite the roller coaster.

What time did you go to bed!?

MarshmallowsOnToast · 30/12/2023 18:49

Are you feeling quite well?

TulipTuesday · 30/12/2023 18:49

Did you wake naturally or did an alarm you’ve been snoozing for 2 hours finally get through to you? Never happened to me, oh no

PPTorPDF · 30/12/2023 18:50

Why did you wake so late?

DiegosMomHasGotItGoingOn · 30/12/2023 18:50

Can you describe it please so I can experience it through you. I would love to sleep in occasionally but my DH is insistent on waking me up all the time. So annoying.

MartinDuKrieff · 30/12/2023 18:52

Are you my teenage son back from university?

Oh no you can't be. He didn't get up until 1:30pm

Reugny · 30/12/2023 18:53

Did you eat breakfast when you woke up as it was still morning?

NearlyHeadlessNick · 30/12/2023 18:54

What time did you go to bed?

I'm jealous, my kids were up with the birds 😲

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 30/12/2023 18:54

What was that like?! Even if I had the opportunity to sleep in that late, I never manage later than about 8.

reddaisies · 30/12/2023 18:48

What time did you go to bed!?

About 10.30pm, not too late. I went out with a friend but we were both tired and didn't stay out long. Both the going out and lying in are rarities for me.

I woke up at 11am also, read my book for a bit and then fell asleep again and woke up at 2pm. So there.

PinkflowersWhiteBerries · 30/12/2023 18:56

You don’t have dogs, do you ? 😏

MarshmallowsOnToast · 30/12/2023 18:49

Are you feeling quite well?

I'm not ill, but quite worn out. 2023 has been a hectic year and it's taken a bit of a toll.

However I have felt groggy and a bit slow today, might not aim for such a long lie-in again.

No alarm. Two earplugs and an eye mask. #LivingMyBestLife

Why did you wake so late?

I'm generally quite tired lately, and dc are at their father's, so took the opportunity with both hands.

I can thoroughly recommend my method of earplugs and eye mask, plus an antihistamine with soporific side effects. You'll not be aware of a thing, even a dh.

Barely enough time to see daylight, I'd be raging.

That behaviour is normal for those in late teens/early 20s.

I used to get up 30 mins before my mum got back from work during holidays were I wasn't working or revising. Weekends I was up at before noon though.

Mammyloveswine · 30/12/2023 19:08

Ive been poorly and recovering from surgery..last night I couldn't sleep and was in a lot of pain.. I had some oramorph at 4am and managed to fall asleep around 5am so didn't wake up until 10:30am..

I still feel drowsy now tbh and have had lazy pj day with the kids (DH working from home).

You probs needed the rest op! Embrace it!

GoodVibesHere · 30/12/2023 19:09
