Hi everyone,

Following two women being arrested at a conference I was asked to go through the law of arrest - I've recorded a short video whistle stop tour through the law which mainly summarises Blackstones Criminal Practice on the subject with a few practical observations, it's probably a bit on the lawyery side but hopefully it helps.

Thanks for this. It looks like this is covering England and Wales. Is the law different in Scotland? Very worried about Scottish women at the moment.

Scotland has a distinct legal system, I'm sure it's not too different to the position South of the border but I would have to defer to a Scots lawyer on questions re criminal law there
