Well, almost anything... I am not unwilling to do a few readings, but might not have the time to do lots. I'm interested in other kinds of discussion around Tarot.

I see readings being offered on here sometimes and wonder how would you be able to do that online? Would you not need the person physically with you?

I always think that it depends on what you mean by "real". I believe each person needs to decide on this for themself. Do you believe Tarot readers can predict the future? Do you believe they are clairvoyant or psychic? I don't believe in any of that.

I used to be very sceptical, to the point of rudeness, about anything woo so nowadays with a bit of life experience behind me, I try to hold my beliefs more lightly. I do believe that Tarot cards are an excellent tool for giving people some space, for reflecting on feelings or experiences, for re-framing problems, for giving hope etc.

I do experience uncanny accuracy that I find hard to explain. One part of me "knows" it's confirmation bias, coincidence etc. The other part of me finds it intriguing and exciting.

I think it's easier with the person in front of you, because you get more of a dialogue. I feel the more you put in, the more you get out. I still some of my best feedback from online readings though. Just fewer hugs.

I'll use @wishingchair1's question as an example :)

What can you tell me about my future career life.

So, firstly I will shuffle the cards with my eyes closed and think two things. Firstly, I set a loving intention that this person be safe from harm and free from suffering. May my actions do no harm. Secondly, I think about the question.

I'll think of what spread to do, and then lay the cards out. I pause and see what's come up. Are they Major or Minor Arcana? What suits? What's the general 'air' or energy about the cards? What do I notice in the imagery?

Then I'll interpret the specific cards and answer the question.

(Give me a few minutes...).

I’ve never been for any kind of readings or thought about it at all really. But the other night I had a really vivid dream where I was told by some sort of reader that our current cycle of IVF wouldn’t work and it’s really stayed with me. I’m sure it’s me just being worried. But this: I do believe that Tarot cards are an excellent tool for giving people some space, for reflecting on feelings or experiences, for re-framing problems, for giving hope etc. helps.

I'm due to get married this Saturday. Partner is currently in hospital.. not sure if he will be out in time but praying he will be okay and have a speedy recovery. Do the cards have any messages for me? I'm trying so hard to keep strong.

I see a period of indecision or over-thinking things, not being able to see all of the options and possibilities available to you. What keeps you from seeing everything clearly?
Further ahead I see an exciting new beginning - full of hope and expectation. There's an air of adventure about a new role or career. You have a natural aptitude for this and people will comment about how the job is a perfect fit for you.

Once again I have sent my son into school crying with yet another health concern. Today it's an itchy rash. We also have had leg pain, eye pain, stomach pain. This has been going on since year 4, now in year 6. Is he going to be ok?

I've done (amateur) tarot readings for friends and they have turned out to be uncannily accurate! The readings have led to hours of interesting chats about life and relationships. It's fascinating stuff!

Pretty accurate there. Thanks, there is a blockage and that is being the sole earner/ loyalty. However other roles have come up that other people have said would be ideal.

Just the blockage and risk of job security.
