Hi,
I came on here a while back asking if anyone had had a tummy tuck and only got a few replies…so thought it may be helpful to anyone considering it and wanting some info!
So, if I can be of any help, ask away!

I think its a previous Mumsnet thread that put me on to a really useful Facebook group - 'UK tummy tucks liposuction and cosmetic surgery' which may be able to help people research and find surgeons in other areas of the country.

@Notthissticky

I’ve never had a CS so can’t compare, sorry!

I can confirm though….

Sneezing hurts. Lots. Sad

Ian is great, he is one of our recon surgeons at work.

How are you feeling op?

GothamGirl1970 · 27/07/2021 19:25

Do you have any other loose skin

GothamGirl1970 · 27/07/2021 19:25

And congratulations

@Annoyedandirritated

Remarkably good considering! I felt worse after having my gallbladder out! Feel a little bit like a little out lady, hunched over a bit and shuffling about slowly but there’s no pain. Mild discomfort at most. Although when I sneezed earlier that was…interesting! Grin

@GothamGirl1970

No other loose skin thankfully! I was quite fortunate to lose that amount of weight and it only really affect my tummy!

I’m going to need one. I’ve never had children. Total weight loss will be 4.5s but I was wondering about 3D liposuction at the same time

TheVolturi · 06/08/2021 12:45

This might be a bit cheeky op, but do you have a before and after pic?

IncludeWomenInThePrequel · 11/08/2021 15:38

Wow, I'm glad to read this, I'm having the same procedure done in a few weeks and am a combination of very excited and a bit scared! It just feels quite risky, putting myself under anaesthetic when it's not strictly necessary.

Although I don't think I can live with this any longer, so I suppose it's sort of necessary for my mental health. I can't wait to look and feel something like the old me, not this bloody deformed shape that I've become.

@TheVolturi there is a similar thread on page two of the AMA topic which has pictures from the OP
