I shaved my mid back length hair off tonight AMA

Just that. I now have a 2mm all over look after years of my minimum length being midway up my back!

And I was just getting to the point of tying it up in a messy bun every god damn day. Only time it would look ok was after a proper blow dry which I can't be bothered with at the moment, so I had long hair for the sake of it without reaping any of the benefits!!!

I remember feeling really fresh and clean. It was a lovely feeling. Enjoy it @iswhois!

Don’t know if you are still here. Do you ever get “heil Hitler”’d? That was the worst thing about a shaven head for me.

At the start of lockdown, my hair was driving me crazy so I got my teenage kids to give me an undercut. My hair grows really quickly so they've had to reshave it 5 times since! My work is quite conservative so I can't shave the whole thing but with this, when my hair is down, you can't tell. When I'm not in work, I tie it up and I love the feeling of no hair over my neck or ears.
