Whynotnow It honestly sounds like you're doing brilliantly. I know loads of people who took way longer than two years to be able to hold even a basic conversation. You're right, the main barrier is everyone speaking English! Yep, DP and our kids are Icelandic.

Yes! We should have won - but the best songs never do so maybe knowing we had the best song is better than the disappointment of not winning would have been. Dadi Freyr did a livestream with Reykjavík schools last week though and my daughter was totally star struck!

Uppaháldsstaðurinn minn er Patreksfjörður, já, íslenska er svö erfitt en ég er bara að byrja. Nei, ég hef ekki lesið gjöf selkonunnar, en ég ætla að gera það!

Ég hef ekki farið á Patreksfjörðu, kannski næst þegar við leyfum að ferðast. Uppáhaldsstaðurinn minn er líklega um Ísafjörðu. Það er vissulega bók sem ég myndi mæla með, ég varð fyrir vonbrigðum með að klára hana. Ó og við höfum ekki farið á typpasafnið heldur hef ég heyrt að aðgangsgjöldin séu svolítið stíf.
