I'm the manager in a charity shop in the U.K. I won't say specifically but it has British in the name. AMA!

Its not economically viable .. I can't believe anyone would think they were to be honest . I always wash any purchases anyways 🤷‍♀️

I have applied to be a charity shop manager.one of the questions was " What would you do if a volunteer refused to do a certain job" .I didn't really know how to answer ( I said ,to find out and see if it was a confidence or training issue ) .what would you have said ?

Among managers, which charity shop chains have the best and worst reps? For staff treatment, I really mean.

I had to leave one place (am a vol) as the abuse of shop staff was so shameless.
