I've seen a lot of posts on here and other places that can be a little negative towards Charity shop staff/volunteers. Although to be fair I love it when there's a thread about unwanted gifts and everyone piles in to say give to Charity shop Grin.
I've left now , but was a Manager for six years so feel free to quiz me Smile

@covetingthepreciousthings
Firstly good luck.
I would do some homework on Gift Aid if you don't know much about it. It's a vital income for charities.
Read up on the actual charity, you'd be surprised in interviews the candidates not knowing the core principles.
Admire their ethics or ethos, be prepared to back that up.
Let them know you realise it's hard physical work and you are not afraid to get stuck in.
Talk about a valued relationship with volunteers and how vital they are to the running of the shop.

Be cheerful and relax !

My fingers are crossed for you!

By the way that's a spectacular name fail on my behalf! Grin
