It's inherited. I didnt buy it. X

Ok, then it’s unlikely to have a laser girdle so probably untraceable.x

Is lasering a girdle a recent thing (I still doubt it has been)

Even though its inherited its not an old ring. X

It's been around for a few years, I don't know exactly when it started tbh. They are so tiny! Takes a 20x lense to see it.x

I doubt mine has it but its interesting.

What magnification does a loupe give

fannyboz · 26/04/2019 22:50

A standard loupe is 10x

Do you know what to use when soldering copper - eg making rings / earrings? Silver is always really obvious, however thin I make it.

Also do you know which is the best place online to get jewellery making advice?

Just starting out obvs x

@howdiditdothat I've only ever used silver solder on copper but agree it's obvious.
Have a look at sisterhood of metal smiths on Facebook. Also, there are loads of jewellery making videos on YouTube. Look for Andrew Berry. Smile
