Why has ptsd left you with no teeth?

What is Complex PTSD that makes it distinct from PTSD?

Complex PTSD refers to, often emotional, incidences of abuse over an elongated period.

I also have PTSD stemming from a traumatic event involving one of my DCs.
Do you have a solid support system? Family/friends etc who just “get it”? I think having those people around me has been a massive contributor to my coping strategies

Not really with regards to support. Shit childhood = complex; two separate instances of sexual abuse responsible for the "garden" variety. Have had CBT, been on a waiting list for EMDR for three years. Only disclosed a few years ago, long history of self harm.

I'm sorry to hear of your PTSD. I had it too - after I was violently mugged and sustained some nasty injuries. I received counselling via Victim Support and it really helped. I did go off the deep end for a bit though. Sending you until you're in a better place. Xx
