Have you ever had problems from the police/authorities who don't understand the law and how do you deal with that?
I have not yet ventured out into 'clothed' society whilst nude, though I would love to find a naked ramblers group. Police have been an issue in the past, but there have been recent attempts to educate police on what exactly the law states, and if out nude we have been encouraged to carry a slip of paper with the laws written if there is any trouble.
Are you cold in the winter and are you always naked?
I'm as happy clothed as I am naked, so I'm not naked all the time. Winter can be chilly, and you do have to choose between higher energy bills or clothes!
Do you read the laundry threads on here and think. Ha, I don't need to wash 2 loads a day as I don't have much to wash.
Haha, yes it definitely does cut down on the washing pile, and all the time spent thinking 'what shall i wear today?'
What is about it that appeals? Is it just in the house? Do you choose your clothes with it in mind (loose fitting? Revealing?)
I skinny dipped once and after that i really hated swimming in a costume, uncomfortable and clingy. And I really like that it levels people, once everyone has their clothes off you're all on a level playing field, and everyone seems a lot less judgemental. The beauty of naturism is that there are people from all walks of life.
I'm naturist at home, and I also belong to a naturist club. A group of us also went on a naturist holiday last year. I actually like clothes as much as I like being nude. I generally go for 50s style dresses. But when going to a naturist event I definitely wear things that are easy to take on and off.
Do you ever have sudden moments of self consciousness when naked in front of people?
I haven't yet, but then I've always been with a group of other naturists. I could see it happening if it was out on my own. But we always carry a towel so I'd just cover up quickly
