Did it hurt when you got the tattoos?

MakeAWhish · 22/01/2019 18:55

Why are you celibate?

MumUnderTheMoon · 22/01/2019 19:43

Bananalanacake it did hurt but I use numbing cream to take the edge off. Sensory overload is more of an issue tbh but my tattoo artist knows me well now which helps.

MakeAwish I don't really enjoy people being in my personal space I find sex and even relationships really intrusive so I don't partake. Also as regards sleeping with men, it's the best kind of contraception.

Do you think your lack of sex drive is also to do with being autistic? My sister is autistic. Has never had any sexual desire. Never fantasied even about a pop star! Only wishes to have cuddles and kisses, not sex. I wonder if it might be related to autism? She so wants a relationship but will find it tricky if she isn’t willing to have a sexual relationship.

Have you had relationships without sex?

MumUnderTheMoon · 22/01/2019 21:53

Possibly I've only ever been interested after a lot of drinking but that's how I managed all social situations.

Also I've mostly had sex without relationships.

How many children do you have? Do you find it hard being an autistic mum?

MumUnderTheMoon · 22/01/2019 22:15

Crystalblue13
I have one child, this is an active choice as I don't think I could be a good mum twice. I am quite selfish and as I don't relate well to the needs of others naturally, it isn't instinctive to put someone else first. I love my dd so I choose to put her first but it is something that I actively choose to do and sometimes it is exhausting. Also my dd is autistic and I'm not sure if I would be any good with a NT child.

Well I’m sure you are a brilliant mum to your daughter and that’s all that matters. :)
Do you work?

MumUnderTheMoon · 23/01/2019 12:17

No I also have a chronic illness so I am unable to work at present. I'm not sure when that will change but I hope that it will at some point.

O I’m sorry to hear that, good luck to you x
I don’t work at present, I am depressed and have been looking for something part time but at the same time leaving my daughter makes me really anxious!

Itsagamerchanger , I'm sorry but not all people with ASD are asexual. I don't know where you're getting your info from. Yes, it is true that many are, but I'm an Aspie and I've always loved fucking men.

And, OP, you seem really irresponsible here. I'm sure there are a lot of people on the spectrum who don't like sex but many of us do. Key word is spectrum I only do not like to be touched when I am crying and that is most of the time, not all of the time.

I cannot believe this is even an OP.

Please do not spread misinformation. It's incredibly irresponsible, disrespectful and extremely dangerous.

I'm done.

MumUnderTheMoon · 22/02/2019 11:57

I wasn't suggesting that all autistic people are asexual that's ridiculous. I am all the things in the title, there is no intrinsic link between those things. I happen to be autistic and tattooed and celibate and single and a mum. The point of AMA is to be asked anything about you and I don't see the need to be limited on what I was asked about so I put it all up for grabs.
