I guess you must get really tired! Hats off to you I couldn't do three jobs!

leghairdontcare · 29/10/2018 18:51

What are the other two jobs?

EthelHallowsBroomstick · 29/10/2018 18:56
  1. Do you think it's cheating if a married man has a private dance with (from?) you?
  1. Do any women go in the club, other than to work?

I realise those Qs could seem just, for the record I'm not! It must be a physically hard job, actually...

  1. Is it really tiring and physically exhausting, especially when you gave other jobs too?
EthelHallowsBroomstick · 29/10/2018 18:56

Have* other jobs

HumptyNumptyNooNoo · 29/10/2018 19:10

Any idea how to get baby oil off a suede jacket ?

TheDeadlineIsFriday · 29/10/2018 21:15

What are the most enjoyable aspects of the job?

How did you get into it?

eloliphant · 29/10/2018 21:17

What's the pay like?

Swashbuckles · 29/10/2018 21:19

FANTA It's actually okay, some weeks I am tired but some weeks I barely seem to do anyhing as they're all flexible.
leghair I am an emergency call handler, and a landlord. I have also been a honeytrap until recently.

ethel I wouldn't mind if my other half did it HOWEVER , this is because I know the industry, and because we're both involved in it. As it is, they never have. However I think cheating is personal to each couple (hence we have swingers, people who marry escorts etc). I have danced for a lot of couples who find it exciting rather than anything else. I think It's personal to each person and before we commit,, we have to be on the same page. If someone is married and their husband lies about it, knowing their spouse doesn't agree with it, then absolutely that is cheating.

  1. Yes they do. Not anywhere near as many as men, but I would say usually one or two on any given shift. Either lesbians (which I am one of and It's how I started!) or curious women with or without a male 'accomplice'.

  2. I am always knackered after a club shift, and it isnt easy if I have to go to my (employed) position the following day. I will only do it if I am on the night shift and able to get plenty of sleep, otherwise it wouldn't be fair as It's a job one has to be alert to do.

humpty I just asked my mother that and she said something to absorb the oil, such as potato or cornstarch, or bicarb and then brish off and wash thoroughly!

Are you paid cash in hand for your dancing, or is it on a proper payroll?

How do you find the time to work three jobs?!

MrsCar · 29/10/2018 21:21

Are you under pressure to stay slim and toned? Do you workout and diet?

Swashbuckles · 29/10/2018 21:22

deadline -hm, I guess I am such a serious person, always have looked after people and worked hard and, It's an outlet to go and flirt and have a few drinks and be 'fun'. It's a side of me I like. I got into it by first being a curious customer, being asked if I ever would and then saying no until I said yes. I've done it a long time and am very glad I did. The money isn't to be sniffed at either. I'm also someone who observes people a lot-and It's great for that.

eliophant the pay varies dramatically. Some nights are barely worth doing, some nights I go home so triumphant. I used to do it as a sole income and had to stash on the weeks I made a lot, because you never know what next time will bring. I guess that's self employment in essence, though.

bee cash in hand.

I work the clubs every weekend unless I am rotad on in my other job, and the landlord thing is more whenever something needs to be done, so I can find time for that quite easily. My other job isn't full time. This way of life suits me though, It's good to have more than one thing to do.

mrs we're not really-some much larger women dance. I personally do keep myself reasonably trim but I would anyway. I am not anything unusual, I'm quite muscular from working out but have a bit of a belly nowadays, you dont have to be model-like and dancers are all different shapes and sizes.

How have you arrived at your decision to ‘retire’?

Swashbuckles · 29/10/2018 21:49

deadline I am just not enjoying it as much as I used to. Tolerance level for some of the crap I put up with has gone down, I guess I am just getting older. I have come to this 'decision' before though and then missed it and gone back! I do still enjoy it, just get a bit fed up now and again which I didn't used to.
