Teenage sweethearts, married at 24 - left me for someone else 12 months later!

No kids involved. AMA.

What are your feelings towards him?

My ex left me for the OH (whilst undergoing IVF for dc2 but that’s another story) and as much as I hate him, I am jealous of her for getting him. Do you ever feel the same?

I think I'll always feel like he's the one that got away. It's been a couple of years and I still occasionally think what if?

Yes totally understand - I don't want him or any man that would do that do me but it frustrates me massively that she 'gets him'. Although I've lost at a game lol.

I had an idea due to him being sloppy but no concrete evidence. In the end he had backed himself into a corner with lies so had to admit it.

He would lie about where he was, stay out late, turned quite nasty towards me etc.

Thank you! Yes I'm okay. I think that sort of betrayal & feeling of unworthiness never fully leaves you and definitely means I'll have my guard up more in future. I am in a new happy relationship now though :)
