I no longer speak to my mother

I'm in my 30s, we haven't spoke for nearly 3 years.

Do you feel better for it? Was it hard to completely cut contact? Did your mother try and speak to you initially? Do you have children? Do they see her/speak to her?

Camel - I do feel better for it, camel, yes. That's not to say it isn't painful and sad at times. My mother cut contact too, it was sort of mutual, so no she didn't try to speak with me at first.

I have young kids who see her. I haven't seen her for around 3 years but they have seen her several times a year.
