Some people say I'm Passive Aggressive, whatever that means

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a thread about this sort of thing. But I don't suppose anyone will ask any questions.

That bin is a bit full if anyone is getting up.

Some people just like to have a label for things I suppose.

I don't understand it myself but I'm sure they mean well.

Maybe they have too much time on their hands?

IveGotBillsTheyreMultiplying · 25/07/2018 10:58

That bin is starting to smell in this hot weather.

slowrun · 25/07/2018 11:03

Yes, op, it's so hot isn't it? Makes you feel like doing literally nothing....

WakeUpSlow · 25/07/2018 11:04

I just wish someone would sort out that bin. I know everyone's busy etc but it's getting ridiculous.

slowrun · 25/07/2018 11:05

Sorry, questions,

'What sort of bin do you prefer, peddle or swing?'

IveGotBillsTheyreMultiplying · 25/07/2018 11:06

I empty my bin daily, just saying.

slowrun · 25/07/2018 11:07

Oh,

'Doesn't the cleaner do the bin?'

DontMindMeRollsEyes · 25/07/2018 11:18

Oh, I couldn't possibly have a swing bin. It reminds me of that awful holiday with that ghastly couple

OP posts:
TimeForANewNameIThink · 25/07/2018 11:20

When i was young, i would have emptied the bin well before it got that full (and smelly).

slowrun · 25/07/2018 11:24

Do you have a lot of food waste?

DontMindMeRollsEyes · 25/07/2018 11:28

Do you mean to be so rude?

Gosh, it's dry in here. Like the Sahara Desert. If only I had a glass of water.

OP posts:
DontMindMeRollsEyes · 25/07/2018 11:31

Oh, a question about food waste. I assume it was a question and was directed towards me and not just Mumsnet en masse.

Do I have food waste?

I do think it's a shame that the younger generation don't cook from scratch like we did. Even the potato peelings went in a nice pie.

Of course, if people didn't keep putting their rubbish in my bin, then it wouldn't get full.

OP posts:
TimeForANewNameIThink · 25/07/2018 11:37

< scuttles off to empty op's bin and fetch her a glass of water. Stands by to be told i've done both wrong>

slowrun · 25/07/2018 11:37

Do you see who keeps putting rubbish in your bin? You are so indulgent, my family wouldn't dare...

Don't your children fetch you drinks? Mine are well trained....

IveGotBillsTheyreMultiplying · 25/07/2018 12:08

Well I don't peel my potatoes. It preserves the vitamin C in the skin. But I suppose most people don't care about such things.

Each to there own.

IveGotBillsTheyreMultiplying · 25/07/2018 12:09

Their own, apologies.

I like to spell correctly. So many people on the internet don't these days.

Whatsnewwithyou · 25/07/2018 12:12

(Said to someone who's got up and just come back in and sat down) - "oh it's fine, I'll just empty that full bin next time I'm up..."

IveGotBillsTheyreMultiplying · 25/07/2018 12:16

Time

Thanks for the tea. I usually have mine with less milk, but it's good to try new things.

Did you put the tea bag in the bin before you put it out? I'm only asking because I like to reuse my tea bags, but it doesn't really matter.

DontMindMeRollsEyes · 25/07/2018 12:48

I wish there were biscuits.

OP posts:
DontMindMeRollsEyes · 25/07/2018 12:48

A Viennese Whirl would be nice.

OP posts:
slowrun · 25/07/2018 13:44

You eat biscuits? We always end up throwing them away in our house so I very rarely buy them these days...

TimeForANewNameIThink · 25/07/2018 13:57
ShackUp · 25/07/2018 14:10

I've got some 'rectangular' Viennese whirls, but you'd probably moan about the shape, so I'll eat them myself if you don't mind grabbing them on your way out, there's a dear.

DontMindMeRollsEyes · 25/07/2018 14:14

@slowrun Now I know why my bin is always full. I find eating the biscuits helps with offsetting the landfill problem. Of course, what do I know?

Gosh, it would be nice to live in a dust free house.

@TimeForANewNameIThink Ahem.
