I'm a mixed race woman AMA

I've been thinking of starting one of these for a few days now, so after seeing a couple of threads about mixed race people today, i thought now would be as good a time as any.

So AMA

Do you identify particularly with either race?

Yes more so with the black side of my family.

Have you had any negativity from either side?

Do you feel being mixed race has any advantages/disadvantages?

In a binary world - do you think it's okay for you to be perceived as just black? Considering so many black people (especially in the Caribbean and some African countries) are a mix of different ethnicities.
