I'm a teacher, would putting that in the description make a difference? Its certainly no big deal for me to wear through shoes!! I purposely buy cheap ones now because I mind less when I chuck them. Throwing away a £50 pair of shoes after a term sucks.

I once listed an old pair of Birkies and got requests for more pictures of my feet, asked if they smelled and one guy asked me if I was up for it.

I got a bit freaked by it all as once I was out one evening waiting for a bus and a man was obsessing about my feet and then overcome with hs fetish, dropped his trousers and flashed me. I was sat down and his meet and two veg were at eye level. Thankfully the bus came.
