I’m a random person on the Internet - ask me anything

Since ask me anything appears to be the theme of the week on MN... Grin

I give no guarantees that I will be able to answer the questions, but if you’ve got a question and you think some random internet person is the person to answer it: fire away.

Disclaimer: this is not about any specific thread; just a tongue in cheek response to a general trend.

Is your belly button an innie or an outie?

UnimaginativeUsername · 04/07/2018 21:20

An innie. In fact, it’s really deep (well, by bellybutton standards); it’s like a well.

DS1 has neither and innie nor an outie. He has a surface swirl that goes neither way instead. It’s odd.

Should I wear black short or grey long?

What are your views on lemon drizzle cake?

Is there a fictional character the author has killed off that you're still bitter about years later? (I have several, I take it personally!)

This is MN. Shock I couldn’t possibly say as it would be too outing if you all knew that I crochet, do Pilates, and go swimming! I’ve also recently decided to take up kayaking.

Trousers, skirts, tops, or hair?

Given the weather I’m going to go with black short.

What are your views on lemon drizzle cake?

Lemon drizzle cake is a good call for gluten free baking, as it’s less likely to end up hideously dry. And it takes pretty good.

I have never made a LDC for a PTA event though.

Erm... I don’t think so. I try not to bear grudges about such things.

I think my sister is still traumatised by the demise of the horse in the middle of the never ending story, even if it comes back to life at the end. Every time we watched it my mum had to fast forward to the end to prove it wasn’t really dead and then back to the bit in the swamp.

Can you explain how top bowlers achieve reverse swing, in test match cricket?

To be perfectly honest, beyond vague muttering about rough and smooth sides of balls and differences in air flow: no. Not without googling.

However, using google-jitsu I have discovered that the BBC can explain it properly on my behalf.

Hi there UU. I’ve just finished the thread you started in March about the problems you (and others) had with your exes, STBXes etc but could not find the new thread so don’t know how you and the other ladies got on. Eg did you finally manage to move home, did your horrible ex clear out of your old house, etc. Please could you send a link to the new thread? Thanks very much!!
