I have Tourette’s, ask me anything

I find Tourette’s it’s the subject of a lot of interest online and in the media but few people ask much in RL perhaps for fear of appearing rude, so ask me anything. I’d be happy to help.

Do you have an idea what age your tics started? Have you found it's improved as you've gotten older?

Do you manage to sleep ok or do your tics wake you up regularly? Sorry if any of these questions are offensive or dumb, I don't know much about Tourette’s but I'd like to be more aware.

MrBig they aren’t, as I’ve explained previously in the thread.

dearmr my tics started around 8, worsesend until late teens, stayed stable until late 20s and then gradually improved.
That is the overall pattern but it waxes and wanes on a daily/weekly/ monthly basis too.

I struggle to get to sleep, my tics used to wake me up but now they don’t and I don’t always tic when I am asleep. You are not offensive or dumb at all!
