Lilly Wachowski accused J.K. Rowling of "funding trans genocide" and compared her to the Nazis — and now, the author is responding to the Matrix filmmaker's criticism.

I do think it's interesting in the different ways JK - who I agree with on much - responds to people with the financial means to fight back and those who do not posses the same means. It's quite telling.

It's amazing how this ideology, or maybe it's the pornography at the root of it, turns these men's brains to absolute bloody mush.

This is simply about enforcing existing laws. If she's so wrong, then she'll lose the court cases, won't she? If they don't like it, they can stip breaking the effing law!

And they really need to look up the definition of genocide - it doesn't mean 'not being supportive of' it means wiping their genes out from the gene pool. How on earth do they think she's doing that? She's not going around having people killed (even the ones that threaten her life).

I’m just amazed that someone who’s had a long career within the Hollywood machine, and who’s directing laurels have got notably dry and crispy, is surprised that no studio will fund his weird vanity turkey project. I’m sure he blames transphobia, but their desire not to waste cash like that almost feels like a kindness, letting him keep what small shreds of dignity he’s got left.

It is interesting that a certain type of man is so drawn by misogyny that he can find it in any field - doesn’t matter whether it’s tech, sport, arts, medicine, policing, the armed forces, they’ll generate trouble for the women they don’t like. Which is all of us. and some of them hate us so much they will take harmful drugs and have horrible surgery to show us that they can make better women than we are. By which they mean fuckable. It’s bizarre to me.

The Wachowskis have used the same studio as Rowling, Warner Brothers, for all their biggest films like Matrix, V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas and others. That includes the one his brother directed by himself The Matrix Resurrections (2021) recently which is after JKR started her heroic support for women. There are plans for another film or Matrix series for Warner though to be fair only the other Wachowski is involved.

The money they still make Warner goes into paying for the new HP series the movies and advancing JKR's brand, their films are appearing on and supporting Warner's HBO streaming platform which makes JKR millions every year soonto massively increase when the TV series drops. Obviously JKR's earnings dwarfs the revenue The Wachowskis make Warner, but they are interconnected.

No doubt the Wachowskis will be turning down any money they make from a firm backing JKR to the hilt. If JKR is that evil how can they help a company so tied into helping her become more successful.

Arguably the Wachowskis are key players in supporting the Trans "genocide". If they are still endorsing Warner brothers that clearly indicates supporting and making money for JKR is fine

It is very clear from her words that the issue is not with trans people but with compelled speech, the denial of reality and the importance of actual biological sex

Yeah that seems to be effective. He's down to his last trillion.

Re gaming. For the past 15 years games development, communities and marketing was dominated by these kind of TRAs and trans identified guys - porn-addled neuro divergent, tech geeks. Then after lockdown's gaming peak, consolidation and AI led to around 25-30% of jobs going (this is on the back of big expansion prior to this) and many of these activist employees were first out of the door. This coincided with the massive success of Hogwarts Legacy and gaming becoming more female and mainstream. Many games leaders breathed a secret sigh of relief about no longer having to deal with them. The film industry is currently going through similar and that's why his kind of work can't get greenlit.

(Not saying that unemployment is good but the vagaries of film/music/gaming markets mean that there is expansion and contraction in employment. Nobody chooses a career there thinking its a job for life.)

I think the Dominatrix was married to Buck Angel who is a prominent TransMan.

I watch a lot of their context as Buck talks about what it is actually like to transition and is very against childhood transitioning

To be fair, if we had laws similar to those in Australia, she probably would be campaigning to change the law and that would be her democratic right.

And ( I could be wrong so please correct me if that's the case) any cases she funds are for women to protect their rights under already existing laws.

She is not using her influence or funding any changes to laws.

It must be a struggle to produce anything worthwhile when one has such a one dimensional view of the world and so little curiosity.

The phrase 'trans genocide' always suggests a lack of interest in anyone's rights because it's so far removed from reality.

She funds COURT CASES! The very definition of LEGAL ACTION. Even if you disagree with her aims it's completely reasonable, transparent and democratic.

Yet none of the people who interview him would ever dare ask why he wants to make a film celebrates violence against women.

He's telling people to avoid Harry Potter products because this helps Rowling fund "trans genocide". Not sure he's going to have much success there - the new Harry Potter TV series is going to be a stonking smash hit.
