Yes, I'm happy to accept that the periphery has a SOH but the core doesn't. It was the same when I was in the Labour party. Some great people in the wider movement, but the core of my local party, who were really authoritarian socialists, were monotonous, blinkered, misogynistic and totally devoid of humour. I could not get out fast enough.

Gonna disagree I'm afraid. There's plenty of funny memes and in jokes in TRA-land as well. The hardcore "make everything I don't agree with illegal" bunch not so much, their humour tends to just be bullying and abuse, but the mass #BeKindAndDontThinkAboutTheInherentInconsistenciesAndSexism lot are just people who've lost their way a bit on this issue.

I knew Dolly Parton as much as the OP, ie not at all, but I get the impression from what she did and said that what she really wouldn't have wanted would be attacks on women. Dolly Parton seemed very women-first from the stories being told about her, in her career she cared most about lifting up women (the boring, old-fashioned kind). She wasn't a blank canvas on which to project whatever fad the RSOH cosplayers are into, she was genuine and had her own principles and integrity.
