Nothing exciting or interesting happening here, except one of my cats feeling very vocal today. He hasn't bloody shut up all day. He's not unwell or in pain, just being a dick.

Oh and a serial complainant at work has accused me of gross negligence and potential criminal conduct. I haven't actually done anything, I am a lowly paper pusher but because my name is on letters, he thinks I am more important than I am and have been colluding to get land down valued (down graded? I have no idea!) and have been in cahoots with a land developer. Thankfully all the senior managers are supporting me and knows I haven't done anything, mainly cause I don't have that kind of power and influence 😁 (Also if I did, I certainly would cover my tracks much more efficiently!)

How horrible for you! I know you will be fine, but you still have to go through it all until it’s resolved. 💐

I am loving it! It’s a real treat for me too.

I have a structure and an outline plot so I know what’s going to happen by the end of the book, but writing each chapter is very exciting as the details emerge and some of the plot changes. I am sometimes as surprised as you are. And I hope some of the things that have already been written will excite you the way they have me.

How did you guess 😂 He's being so stupid. I swear he's part Siamese, he is so vocal!

In terms of volume, the 1000 items last year was huge and the house went from piles in front of my piles, and if you moved too quick you'd send something flying, to being able to literally swing the cat around. Whereas most of the 10,000 items so far this year would fit in a decent sized cupboard if packed well!

Everything is much easier to deal with now. I still have way too much stuff, and still have loads of crap to sort and get rid of but the house no longer drives me la la.

It's good that your managers are supporting you on a personal basis Rum, but I hope they are also making it clear to your complainant - and in writing - that his complaint should more appropriately be addressed to your company and not to any individual within it who just happens to be the authorised signatory for outgoing letters.

That sounds awful RumNotRun - and even though you can rationalise it by saying you are just the name on the letter, it must feel unsettling to have somebody accusing you of all that, no matter how groundless it is.
It's something you shouldn't have to be going through.
Thank heavens the bosses are on your side, and as Damson said, I hope they engage with the complainant to say 'oi back off our Rum, that's not who you have a fight with!'

Having seen what Kitty gets like sometimes, I expect it was a drug-induced haze. Bagpuss probably realised nobody else was around, shrugged, curled up in a box & got packed onto one of the tractors.
