I'm sure in the SP case, the Judge was really concerned about a witness being kept under oath over a weekend. 7 months???! After allowing this utter farce of questioning by HH??

I'm actually angry.

NC: Nothing much from me - allow an hour perhaps?
J: then re-exam. So we are into day 2 here.

J: How long for Ms Adair?
HH: An hour?
NC: Same about for me?
J: So let's say 3 hours altogether.

@kortneyxzgilda It's not really complex. Defra falls over backwards pandering to Tinkerbell and then realises that they are acting illegally. Judge appears biased and is not restricting time wasting by Tink's counsel asking the same questions over and over in search of a different answer.

So part of the complaint by ST is delay dealing with investigation/appeals etc.

His legal bod then causes further delay in final answer to case.

J: So, evidence 4 days from 15/12, oral subs begin 26/1. If you all let us know [missed - I think, how many days & counsel to confirm Jan dates] Just let us know when you 3 have worked that out.

J: So CA evidence 15/12 - 3 hours for NC?
NC: Can I say 4, as not under pressure to finish today as that estimate assumed?

And given how long judgements have been taking to arrive, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear a result until a year from now...

@BettyBooper I've caught up enough to be quite glad I missed this morning... and also inhaled a piece of Waitrose Number 1 Lemon Drizzle cake, which was a much better idea. I can take over from now, thanks to you and everyone else who endured this morning!
