With Sparkles no longer a member other male Scottish Greens have had to step up to continue their terrible reputation. They are doing their bit.

The Scottish trade union elites along with Ms Sturgeon, her successor John Swinney, and the Chucky dolls of the Scottish Greens, have all been complicit in using a model similar in effect if not in depth to that perfected by the East German Stasi during the Cold War. They have presided over a malevolent cultural revolution which operates in the shadows and where they can place their curfews on freedom of expression away from the light.
If you’re a professing Catholic or worship in the Free Church of Scotland or a member of the Jewish community, you’re far right. If you ask why affluent neighbourhoods are never chosen to host asylum-seekers and refugees then you must be a fascist.
If you’re a feminist who’s concerned about violent men being placed in the women’s prison estate, then you too belong to the far right! Horrified by the activities of grooming gangs and the sexual exploitation of children? Far right. Support the campaign to criminalise men who use prostitutes? Far right. A campaigner for addiction rehabilitation centres? Far right!
And be very vigilant if you dare to espouse any of these views on social media. For then, you risk being visited early in the morning by police officers and invited for questioning. If you’re an artist or a writer who has chosen to dissent from the new state orthodoxy then you risk being cancelled, prior to being hounded out of your chosen vocation. You will never be permitted to appear at the Edinburgh Book Festival, which is now merely a showcase for state-approved mediocrity.

In the new Scotland, a squad of voluntary informers has been assembled to be the eyes and the ears of this polycephalic regime. The wrong word on social media, or being seen in the company of the wrong people can bring your career to a halt. Just ask Joanna Cherry, Ash Regan, Kate Forbes, Joan McAlpine and Joani Reid what happens.

What McKenna misses there is the class aspect of the Greens, including the Scottish Greens.

I think they have arrived at 'far right' and 'millionaire' as their folk demons because of collective middle class guilt and a desire to divert attention from their privilege. 'Far right' is often used to mean 'working class', in the parlance of the Greens. It's impossible to miss the snobbery that underlies so much of their politics, once you notice it.

There's also an overlap with the nascent prison abolitionist movement in US progressive circles that one green map was advocating

Apparently it was Sharon Cowan, a transactivist who Sarah Brindley (head of Rape Crisis Scotland) brought into a meeting with rape victims who wanted single sex rape counselling, to lecture them on their wrong think.

"When they arrived at the meeting, the survivors found another woman present, in addition to Sandy Brindley. This woman wasn't introduced, so the survivors assumed she must be another woman who'd experienced rape or sexual assault."
Ms Rowling revealed that the person in question was Sharon Cowan, an academic who self-proclaims to be a trans activist. The author went on to claim that Ms Cowan "spoke up during the meeting to berate and criticise women who want same-sex medical care. Groundswell' of anger in Greens over Q rape comments
A “groundswell” of anger has developed within the Scottish Greens over remarks made by MSP Q Manivannan describing rape as existing on a “spectrum” and referring to the “demonisation of rape”, The Herald understands.
The paper also understands a meeting has been confirmed with the Scottish Greens MSP and Rape Crisis Scotland following their remarks. However, a meeting has not yet been established with the Scottish Rape Crisis Alliance (SRCA).
Several party sources have spoken to The Herald criticising both the comments and the Scottish Greens’ initial handling of the controversy, with one describing the situation as “indefensible”.
“It’s been a bruising week for us,” the source said.
Another described Manivannan’s remarks as “misguided”, while one senior party source said there was a “groundswell of people” within the Greens who were unhappy.
“Members are not at all happy,” another source said, “Rape and sexual violence is something our members are very passionate about tackling, so I understand if members feel this flies completely contrary to everything we’ve been working on.”

And I know standards are low at some HE institutions, but how did someone with such approximate English get a postgraduate qualification in the UK?

Other crimes include sexual assault by penetration, sexual assault, sexual coercion.

We have a fairly complex and nuanced law regarding rape and other forms of sexual assault; it's just a shame that in so many cases, the men convicted of the crimes are let off with 'community service' etc.

He can, quite frankly, f**k right off with this kind of attitude to rape. Imagine if someone in the Tories said that? Would Ross Greer be sat on his hands not yet commenting? I think not. This needs to be absolutely condemned but I suspect the golden child from the sacred caste can never be criticised for anything. Intersectional bla blah my backside, they still know who women are when they speak about factors that affect more women than anyone else like this. New misogyny is just the same old misogyny but wearing a bloody rolled-up wee fisherman's beanie and carrying a tote bag.

But the woman interviewing who is nodding along like a bobblehead on the backseat of a car is a disgrace. You do not have to agree with these idiots and their repugnant misogynistic ideas.
