The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides. I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly! The threads may be gone, and may never get reinstated, but they will live on in the memories of all those who read, and saw the contents!

If someone thinks the collective memory of mumsnet can get deleted as easily as a thread they would be very wrong!

I nearly got kicked off my degree for hacking into the results database. Only reason I didn't is because I didn't change anything as they'd given me an A 😄. Norty women!

in my Sainsburys I think, it's been a while since i was actually in the shop, they are in the aisle with the multipacks of mars bars and twixes.

My own results day involved some unexpected Es, a lot of K cider, a lot of rain and vomiting after the aforementioned K cider. I later went on to replace those Es with an A in the same broad subject in a university midterm exam. I did get Bs for English literature and language though although I'm still not sure if Es and Bs should have an apostrophe. My instinct says not. Or should that be no? It's too late in the day for grammar.

I got kicked of eng lit and language for cheating! Not my finest moment! But as most adults assumed I'd be in prison by 20 no one was particularly surprised!

So you can imagine the joy I have trying to decide whilst editing vol two if something has a coma, an apostrophe, and can I fuck work out when it's supposed to be : rather than ; or - . I must be a masochist!

I did end up after doing vocational what would now be nvqs? But was then btech and an apprenticeship (YTS) before doing a Bsc degree though so it proves gcses aren't the be all and end all. And there can be basis routes to get to where you want to get to!

I will say despite my cheating and kleptomaniac tendencies I eventually turned out to be a decent human being .

nicks a caramel wafer off the side whilst you're putting the milk back in the fridge.

To grow horseradish you have to go to the garden centre in the spring and ask for a thong. Or waitrose. I'm not asking the garden centre for a thong. I thuppothe I could ask the garden thentre for a thong, but that will just confuse everyone and be disrespectful of people with speech impediments.

@JanesLittleGirl I knew it was bad and lagging behind, but I didn't realise it was still in the 20th century.

I access it through the internet thingy search wotsit on everything. So didn't even know it had an app until people mentioned it didn't have some fUnctions

They do say on site stuff about the edit button though that they are doing a major app overhaul

App users have to live with what we get. You got GIFs. There was a period of about 6 weeks where you posted them but we couldn't see them. I still cannot post any form of attachment. It's almost like being a woman in a man's world.

One of the best things my mother ever did was ensure we were away on holiday on gcse results day. So I returned home to my 3 Cs a D an E and an ungraded! Waiting on the mat.

I have just been confronted with a naked man! I only opened the door to let the cat out! The guy across from me has curtains, but has obviously not worked out yet how they work!

And NO Tunnocks????????! Tell me it's not true!

I haven't had a single Tunnocks today. In 2 weeks I will have evened put my consumption to reasonable.

I agree about the crafting hobbies.

It's exam results day tomorrow and I'm going with Dd at her request and will wear at least 3 terf items. They can stiff their rainbow flags where the sun doesn't shine because those rainbow flags exclude my daughters and their thoughts and feelings. It includes a tiny percentage of the school including staff. Why are school so keen to highlight the sexuality of their staff for a start. So inappropriate. It doesn't need to be hidden but it doesn't need to be highlighted either. Private life. Clue is in the name.

I like how you can read all the edits though. It looks like they've done as much as possible to stop people changing the meaning of what they said when responses don't go their way.
