Tunnocks Thread 2

The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides.

I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly!

Do you think we could get a limited edition of Mousetrap called Terftrap? With a tiny tunnocks teacake instead of a plastic cheese. And the mice would be wee Mayas, JKRs, Glinners, KJKs etc. in Suffragette colours. We could get the woman who did that pack of cards to design it. 😊

There could be a range, you could have terfopoly, ...terfaroo...

The only other thing that has helped me somewhat is audiobooks - mainly history, and in particular anything narrated by the historian Dan Jones - his voice, talking to me about the Plantagenets or the Wars of the Roses, can send me to sleep in a trice. I follow, him on FB but haven’t told him I take him to bed with me every night because I find him so soporific - he might not see it as a compliment. 😂😂😂

I'm not sure I can be unfaithful to my usual Audio book narrator. (I mean he luckily has done so many of the things even he's probably lost count).

I'd quite like to take Helen Joyce to bed with me she has a nice voice i could listen to forever, I'm not sure if that would help me fall asleep though. I mean it might, she makes me feel all warm and cosy so who knows!

I may have to go in search of Dan Jones voice samples!

It has magnesium, camomile and lavender in it, and it has transformed my sleep! I rub it on just before I put the light off, and I usually fall asleep within half an hour, whereas the norm before was tossing and turning for 2-3 hours.

I buy that stuff for everyone else who can't sleep, and they rave about it

Me... Nothing. Zilch. Nada.

I think I'm made wrong!

@Boiledbeetle I did a limerick on the John Boyne thread, but it's rubbish and won't make much sense without the original poem and knowledge of who Little OJ, so don't include it.

However, if anyone wants to add a limerick to that thread, I'd strongly recommend it. 'King of the Gays' would make an excellent first line.

So, I was up on the middle of the night, unfortunately having taken something to help me sleep the details are a bit hazy as I wasnt exactly with it!

I remember seeing poems and names I knew from this thread. I remember thinking ooh... And that's about it.

I could go trawling but I have an appointment this morning and will have forgotten by the time I'm done.

So if you stuck a poem on a thread somewhere last night and would like to see it put in volume two could you be nice people and stick it on the UTDOD thread or a link to the post on whatever thread it was on! (Or even on here and I'll transfer it over).

Told you it was vague!

Right must go put clothes on!
