im so annoyed - it looks like they just sit in their silo being pleased with themselves and not listening to the membership while charging us a fortune to be told that we are transphobic if we don’t bring our —fetish— whole self to work

im honestly thinking of doing something else . I liked it when we did science and it made sense.

now we’ve got a council by election? Has that even happened before?

Agreed. I really am not happy with the increase.

Katherine's tweets over the past few days are about leadership and true leaders putting others first and being able to admit when things are going wrong. Is she referring to anyone in particular?

Gosh. Thanks for the heads up. No idea what it's about either. Two in quick succession makes me think something may have happened but neither have given anything away just saying no time to deliver the innovation and change required, also mentioned her values and standards of professionalism (Katherine Ashmore)

Someone needs to tell Louie that the only rapists who are shes started life as hes! Sounds like the LGBT network may as well change its name to the T network as that's all Louie cares about.

I missed this last month, but the trans member of the LGBT network (not the same as the diversity committee) tweeted to say that CSP should adopt this definition of transphobia, which is basically TWAW and anyone who disagrees is a hateful bigot. https://www.transactual.org.uk/transphobia

The diversity committee is not very diverse, is it? Everyone has the TWAW mantra, same politics and is of similar age and most of them are in London.

Only one of them has blue hair, we must be grateful that, at least.

What was interesting about that "consultation" was that it only asked if they should adopt a definition of transphobia. Not what it should be. That is a far trickier question to answer but with Jack on the diversity committee it seems like nothing but TWAW will be acceptable.

I emailed from my non-work account, anonymously, saying I hope that being a non-believer in gender, and believing that sex matters, would not mean that I would be accused of transphobia.
I said in the email that I am a registered physiotherapist in Scotland and that my beliefs are worthy of respect.
I also said that despite those beliefs, if in my professional capacity I found myself dealing with a trans colleague or patient then of course I would treat them with the respect and dignity that everyone else is treated with.

If it had been a straight woman patient who had been assaulted by her male partner would he have found her somewhere to stay? He sounds very discriminatory if not.
