What’s the name of the best person you know?

I really like hearing baby name suggestions based on real people. For example “what about the name, Arty? I grew up with an arty he was the nicest guy ever”

Share the name of someone you think is amazing and why. And / or do you know a few people with the same name and can make a statement like “I like the name Maya, never met a bad Maya.”

I've known some supremely lovely Karens as it happens.

Same for me. The most lovely person I’ve ever known is Karen. It’s so sad how people have turned the name into a slur. I always planned to name a daughter after my favourite Karen but couldn’t do it now.

Barbara. My cousins wife is called Barbara and she is the loveliest person ever buy it is unlikely i would called my child Barbara for the very reason that she is also probably the youngest Barbara I know. It seems to have been a very popular name for women around my Mum's age and seems very dated now. We haven't got to a point yet where it is making a comeback.
