What’s new with the Fred & Flo baby and toddler range?
If Fred & Flo is already part of your regular shop, the first thing you’ll notice is the new look. The range has had a full packaging refresh, with fun, family-friendly artwork that makes the products easier to spot on the shelf.
But it’s more than a new look. Tesco has also made changes to some existing products based on customer feedback, alongside adding new nappy and pants sizes and new products to the range.
1. Nappies have had an upgrade
Fred & Flo’s nappies now feature new technology designed to help prevent leaks. The Newborn Nappies in sizes 1-3 have a new targeted core and super-stretchy ears, while the Ultra Dry Nappies in sizes 4-9+ feature a targeted core, Block & Lock Pockets (designed to help contain leaks) at the front and back, and super-stretchy ears. Some nappy packaging is also now made with 51% recycled plastic.
There are new larger sizes, too, including Ultra Dry Nappies in sizes 7+, 8+, 9 and 9+, giving you more choice as your child grows.
Finding a nappy that works for your child can take some experimentation. As Mumsnet user remaininghopeful23 says: "Tesco Fred & Flo are the only ones that ever-suited my son. I tried them all. [...]"
2. More wipes for everything from nappy changes to sticky fingers
Wipes are another essential that somehow disappear faster than you expect, whether you're dealing with nappy changes, mealtimes or whatever your toddler has managed to get on their hands.
Tesco has increased the size of its Fred & Flo 99% Water Pure Baby Wipes packs from 56 to 60 wipes, so there are four extra wipes in every pack. There’s also a new Fred & Flo Travel Pack Baby Wipes option, with four packs of 24 wipes designed to be easier to take out and about.
Mumsnet user Cookiedough123 uses Tesco Fred & Flo wipes and says: "With wipes I’ve tried so many. [...] My favourite though are the Tesco Fred & Flo wipes. They are wet and don’t get stuck when you pull them. [...]"
