From school holiday adventures to rainy Saturday cinema trips, keeping the kids entertained can quickly become expensive. That's why many families look for ways to make days out go a little further.

We're delighted to announce that Kids Pass has earned the Mumsnet Rated badge, after 82% of parents surveyed said they would recommend it to friends and family (based on 55 responses), exceeding the 80% recommendation threshold needed to achieve Mumsnet Rated status.

Why parents recommend Kids Pass

Parents told us that Kids Pass helps make family days out more affordable, with discounted cinema tickets emerging as one of its biggest strengths.

The survey found parents particularly valued:

  • Savings on cinema tickets throughout the year

  • Discounts on attractions, bowling, trampoline parks and family activities

  • Good value for money for families who enjoy regular days out

  • Having offers for a wide range of family experiences all in one place

Kids Pass members can unlock discounts on more than 1,000 family attractions, cinemas, restaurants and experiences across the UK, with savings of up to 56% available through a single household membership.

What Mumsnet parents had to say

Amazing money-saving app.

Provides excellent value and great deals.

It offers great discounts on so many attractions.

For many families, the biggest benefit was saving money on cinema trips.

It's convenient for cinema tickets. We don't find much use for other attractions.

It's good for cinema tickets.

I've used the pass for cheaper cinema tickets, special deals on bowling and trampoline park.

I think the cinema discounts on there are good, so I would recommend it for that, but the rest of the discounts I think you can get with other apps.

Parents also liked having inspiration for affordable family days out all in one place.

It's good to have the opportunity to find offers for days out.

One parent also noted that the range of local offers can vary depending on where you live.

Some of the discounts are good, my kids like going to Cineworld and I like saving money. There are not as many activities in and around Greater Manchester as I would like though.

What is Mumsnet Rated?

The Mumsnet Rated badge recognises products and services that parents genuinely recommend.

Rather than asking people to try something for the first time, Mumsnet surveys parents about products and services they've already used. If 80% or more say they'd recommend it to friends or family, it earns the Mumsnet Rated badge.

With 82% of respondents recommending Kids Pass, it has successfully achieved Mumsnet Rated accreditation.
